Join us for death cafe at Shell Lake Public Library Thursday July 25 from 3 to 5 pm. A Death Cafe is a safe and welcoming space where people come together to have open, honest, and respectful conversations about death and dying. This is not a grief support group, counseling session, or a faith-based program but rather an opportunity to discuss a subject that is so fundamental to life yet frequently avoided in mainstream conversations. Death Cafe is an informal and unique social gathering for people to talk about whatever is on their mind as it relates to death and dying. In the tradition of Death Cafes around the world, cake will be served.
