Saturday the 21st through Sunday the 29th is Storm Water Week. In celebration of Storm Water week, we ask you ‘what is a watershed’? The ponds, streams, creeks, rivers and lakes in our communities are full of life, and they are all connected to each other. Join Park Rangers from St. Croix National Scenic Riverway Saturday September 28 from 11 to noon to create your own watershed model to see what we can do to prevent pollution from entering our waterways. This hands-on activity will allow participants to learn about the local ecosystems, understand how we can protect our waterways, and think creatively while building your own model. This is a great interactive program for the whole family!
